yes this is a horror REALLY But right next to us ,and im from Texas ,in mexico they slaughter horses to eat and people just say well they need to eat,they are poor,Kinky Freedman spoke about it ,AGAIN I dont like it at all !!But I did read that they feed students school meals from this killing,Why dont people speak up for the horses,its courious that people are interested in japan,and so much closer in Mexico they eat horse,and keep our borders cluttered with drugs and Drug Wars, Me I dont like it what happens to flipper but im going to be fair if we are going to film japan that far away we should also do something about people eating Mr Ed MERRY CHRISTMAS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Ok I’m very against killing dolphins but it’s not fair to blame just Japan. Spanish kill bulls for entertainment, Koreans eat dogs, Chinese eat monkeys, Mexicans eat horses, Canadians, Norwegians and native Americans still eat whale as well. Australians took sheep, rabbits and camels into their land and when they become too many, they call them “pest” and get rid of them. How convenient. You can kill sharks but not dolphins cos they are smart and cute?
The eco-system needs both sharks and dolphins.
And every type of animal has equal rights, whether they are intelligent or unintelligent, cute or ugly.
If you think it’s fine to kill cows for food but not dolphins, you are only seeing things based on your cultural backgrounds. Cows are sacred animals in India.
If you think it’s ok to kill some animals because they are not intelligent, that means that life of mentally disabled people are not equal to life of normal people?
Emotion-based thinking is dangerous, it has created racism in the history of humans.

Every animal has equal rights. We should deal with animal slaughter happening in our country first before blaming other nations. It’s easy to blame others and not blame your own people. It’s easier to take actions in your area first than in the other side of the world.

“Mothers and babies call out in distress” (same is true of sheep and cows towards their infants)
“These are benign and innocent beings” (same is true of sheep and cows)

What is going on here?

TonyP other misbehavior with animals does not make the killing of Dolphins less interesting, it is the way they catch the animals and the way they kill them, they suffer!
And as for the bulls in Spain ans all the other situations you mentioned is also horrible, but it doesn’t makes sense to compare them , how they treat them is just not right .

The slaughter of these poor mammals is horrendous! If you don’t believe me, watch the documentary “The Cove”! They are not killing them for food because they contain too much mercury.

There is no doubt other animals in other cultures are slaughtered for sport, but this isn’t even for sport. The slaughters are done in hidden, guarded areas, at night, and the locals don’t even know it’s happening. The sea turns red with blood. Regardless, the slaughter of any animal inhumanly, whether for food or sport, is unconscionable and I believe should be punishable by law. It’s is a travesty! Do a little homework and educate yourself to what’s happening to these poor creatures.

I am so pleased to see someone, anyone, address this problem! Again, watch “The Cove” and find out the truth!
